Unknown to many people, in 1996, when Patek Philippe first unveiled our model 5035 in Basel, it was the very first annual calendar watch ever produced commercially, it bridged the massive gap between a basic date watch and a grand-complication perpetual calendar.

Witch its sleek yet classic design, and rather handy functionality which requires the wearer to only adjust the date once per year (at the end of Feb. naturally). Without all the hassles of a perpetual calendar and a price tag half, it was a huge commercial success.

5035 was a silent hero that gave Patek and perhaps the entire watch industry a much-needed boost having gotten out of the "Quartz Crisis". and it was deservingly awarded the "Swiss Watch of the Year" by the authoritative publication Montres Passion shortly after its launching.

I absolutely love 5035 on a personal level, at 37mm/11mm it wears so comfortably, well on most men, elegantly in shape, but can too whistle a little sportiness with its three subdials, which resembles a bit of a chronograph.

5035 is like a well-balanced old-world gentleman, who can fix the daily bolts and nails, but is also not afraid to show up at the ball with a black-tie.

Condition: All original, fully serviced in 2022(RUR), case polished, blemishes on dial, paint on the second hand wore off, tiny scraches and blemishes on parts of the movement.
